About

My name is Lizzie, I'm seventeen and I live in a small cold town in England.

I started this blog in 2010, a typical teenage girl-y thing to do, trying to find a place to think. Since then, the love for music I have always had has grown and grown. I lost my heart at an Imogen Heap concert that year and since then have kept on going to gigs whenever I can. Here I come home and I write about them. For that reason I guess this has turned into a music blog, and I'm happy with that. It's one of my favourite things to share.

I have an over-active imagination, and spend a lot of the time staring out of windows with my thoughts caught up somewhere else. I am often accused of living in Wonderland and I've definitely spent a lot of time thinking about whether that's a bad thing or not.

I like walking outside at night, when there's nobody around. I love books, and have a wide, mismatched variety of literary heroes including Gaiman, Green, Plath, Rowling and Fitzgerald. I like to drink rosé, eat nachos and go for long bike rides. I'm also kind of a francophile. I have curly hair, two cats, a love for the seaside, and calloused guitar fingers. I have a deep and profound passion for cheap wine, "ironic" selfies and elaborate iced coffee drinks.

Lots of people say they like "all sorts" of music and it's always annoying, but I do. You probably do, as well. I don't know how to begin with listing some of my favourites, but they include Imogen Heap, Mumford and Sons, Amanda Palmer, Laura Marling, Bo Bruce, Noah and the Whale, Kina Grannis and lots more. I would love you to stay and read about them.
